Team Manager

I manage about 40 people across two plants, one that makes bread and the other that makes morning goods. There is no strict routine in this job. On any given shift I could be briefing my teams, co-ordinating training sessions or improving processes. However a couple of things are constant. Every day you will find me monitoring health and safety, and ensuring that we reach the highest standards of production.

Its challenging and hard work but I like it like that. I’m working in a target driven environment where it is essential that we are focused to achieve results. But you enjoy a real sense of team spirit. Things are just as challenging and rewarding as they were when I first joined Warburtons – and I feel that there’s still a lot more to achieve in my career.
